THE ARTIST
Rebecca Oh is a Korean-American artist and educator.
She graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2017 with a Bachelors Fine Arts and a Masters of Art in Teaching in 2018. She went on to receive her Masters of Fine Art at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2025.
Her art revolves around her experiences navigating through intersecting spheres of family, religion, sexuality, culture, and mental illness. She uses art as a means to filter and analyze the world around her.
Her studio is currently in Richmond, Virginia, where she also lives with her sons Hamish, the domestic shorthair, and Ezra, the ball python.
